The black sheep, the guide traced in blockchain

LA PECORA NERA. The independent guide that tells, without filters, the best flavors of Rome, Milan and Turin for the 2022 edition has decided to rely on pOsti. The new edition of the Guide was presented during Excellence 2021 in Rome and presents a technological innovation that makes it even more reliable: blockchain tracking. "Our mission has always been - declare the editors and curators of the volume Simone Cargiani and Fernanda D’Arienzo - to create food and wine guides (...) by visiting all the places surveyed and paying the bill as any customer. Now, thanks to blockchain technology, we can certify our transparency, show with certainty that we have visited the premises we vote for. "

How blockchain tracking works To explain it briefly, the reader will just need to scan the qrcode, present on the guide, to be sure that the information reported is truthful. In fact, blockchain technology guarantees the immutability of the data that is shared with everyone via the qrcode. The pOsti startup, thanks to its innovative and highly technological structure, was able to find the fundamental data of the various visits and certify them, as if it were a digital notary. Almaviva also participated in this project, offering its infrastructure to record transactions in blockchain ethereum. "It is an ambitious challenge that La Pecora Nera Editore has involved us in - underlines Virgilio Maretto, CEO of pOsti - in a moment in which the consumer wants to be increasingly aware, the blockchain becomes a fundamental tool for radical transparency.". pOsti shares the same objective as the La Pecora Nera publishing house: to support and tell the story of high quality. This is why it participated in the 2022 edition to make it even more reliable!
