Programme Overview

This webinar is a joint initiative of three EU-funded Horizon Europe projects: FEAST, SWITCH, and PLAN'EAT. Together, they will examine the European Commission's food systems vision from production to consumption, exploring policy implementation pathways and gaps for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2028–2034), the social dimensions and stakeholder perceptions of sustainable food transitions, and participatory governance approaches including the concept of a European Food Policy Council.

The session will bridge political vision, research, and practice to identify opportunities for creating healthier, more equitable, and more sustainable food systems across Europe.
